Blogging’s Impact on Politics and Teaching Politics
The reason I chose this post is because there are not many things that are more important then suporting and understanding our government. The fact that we have all of these online sources for news and politics should be used in every social studies classroom either on a daily or weekly basis.
It's almost like if we begin to brainwash students into watching political debates on a regular basis they will continue to do so for the rest of their lives.
Unfortunatly, to impliment this into the classroom is very difficult to do becasue of state curriculum requirements and testing.
Easy to Teach isn’t Easy to Learn

What I like about this article is that were teaching an old dog new tricks. I think that it's really important that we keep coming up with new ways to learn, and the fact that she learned from her son really shows that anyone can be a teacher.
What I don't really care for is the fact that she really want's to learn. My problem with that is that as a teacher of high school studnets our problem is not finding the content it's finding the desire and motivation to learn.
